A Rise and Shiny Update – Auction and Campaign

Thank you, U Co-op!

We mingled, we noshed, and we boogied! Thank you to each and everyone of you. Putting on our annual auction, an ever important event, is no small feat!

We have tallied all the numbers (including matching funds) and this year we raised a whopping $255K! Both the silent and live auction brought in $75K and the Fund-a-Need supporting the Rise and Shine Campaign raised $143K. This is a tremendous outpouring of support from our community! Thank you!

Campaign Update

We have great news: Permits for the Rise and Shine building project were issued by the City this week,

and…

with the gifts we received at the auction, we have tipped over the $1.4M mark!

We still have a ways to go and hope that if you were not able to attend the auction – or have been meaning to reach out – that you will consider a gift or pledge to the campaign today!

The Golden Sledgehammer Groundbreaking Event will be held on May 30th at 2:30!

Come see our 5th grade raffle winners take the first sledgehammer swings as we kickoff construction! There will be refreshments and fun activities for all! If you can make it, we would love to see you! Please join us!

The construction team is gearing up and will be on site June 5th with their hardhats on. We have a busy summer ahead and will be keeping you all updated with progress over the next few months.

This project has been a journey (not a race!) and one that we would not have embarked on if not for this incredible community. We thank you heartily!
